Detail-Oriented Product Sourcing Assistant for 7 Figure E-Commerce Business

In search of a detail-oriented product sourcing specialist to further support the growth of our E-Commerce business.  If you enjoy the challenge of product sourcing, the flexibility of working from anywhere, and career growth opportunities, read on.  In this role, you will support our Purchasing Director with basic sourcing activities outlined below.  

Product sourcing objectives

• Review lists of products from our current wholesale suppliers to identify profitable products to order and sell online, using manual and software-driven techniques.  
• Product Matching: Review hundreds of photos of supplier products to ensure they match exactly with the products we are selling online
• Auditing and Quality Control:  Check our offerings to ensure they contain the latest cost information, correct pricing, accurate photos, etc.
• Engage in manual sourcing for suppliers that do not provide us with pricelists.  This involves logging into their portal and comparing their offerings to what’s available online  
• Upload spreadsheets and photos of products to our websites and to the marketplaces
• Analyze competitors to identify potential opportunities for our business
• Perform other detail-oriented tasks as needed

• You’ll be working for our Purchasing Director directly.  
• Finding new product opportunities can be very rewarding.  But matching photos and manual sourcing are very repetitive tasks.  Being ok with daily repetitive tasks is important.  
• Attention to detail is extremely important.  We are looking for someone who is very careful when it comes to analyzing data.  
• Team members log their attendance in a time-tracking software for the duration of work each day.  This software tracks productivity and takes screenshots throughout the day. 
• All training will be provided.  You will learn a great deal in this role.  You are also encouraged to speak up and share your ideas.
• Participation in goal-based team bonuses will become available after 90 days of successful performance.  
• 20 days of paid time off per year, including holidays, sick leave, emergencies, and personal days.  You can also take 7 public / national holidays per year. 

Requirements

• Strong English skills
• 1+ year of work experience in a detail-oriented role
• Ideally, familiar with Amazon, wholesale sourcing sourcing, or some of the tools we use (Keepa, BBP, Scanunlimited)
• Comfort-level with Excel and Google Sheets
• A suitable internet connection
• Comfort with or willingness to learn standard communication tech such as WhatsApp, Skype, Google Meet, Trello, Zoom, etc
• Not being afraid to speak over phone and video chat 
• Perform the work with some overlap during the morning hours of Central European Time 
• Be excited about the company’s vision to become the top data-driven sellers online

• Ability to organize and keep track of multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Uses creativity to think of new ideas and solutions
